Not a single business Thread !

I scrolled down two pages and did not find a single business thread.
WTF is going on?
I'm all for talking shit and ranting about this or that but Last time I checked this was a business forum.

I bet 80 percent of the "page views" on most threads with "Hot chick" or "I fucked 2 girls last night read me" threads are surfers.

I beleive this board is becoming a waste of time, someone want to open up a discussion on this with me?

Let's start doing business.

I used to make business threads, but it's fruitless nowadays. They fall off to the 10th page, no replies. I used to love the hardcore discussion there used to be. Nowadays it's all bullshit.

When I first got here in Jan 03 I believe, it was great.
I didn't learn a lot here, but I did learn quite a few things that became valuable later down the line. I miss it.

The problem is the high volume of goofy threads. There are so many of them even when a biz thread does get posted it ends up getting lost in the crowd and pushed off the front pages.

GFY is pretty much just for having some hearty laughs now. I don't think the majority of the people here are interested in business posts.

Well the title of this particular forum is "Fucking Around & Program Discussion".... It seems like most people are more interested in fucking around than they are in discussing programs. Perhaps it's time for a new Business forum where business threads can congregate and people who are serious about doing business can find the information they want to find there.

I'm all for laughing, but now to do real business I guess I've got to go to other places to find it. Or ask people over ICQ which doesn't allow me to really get that many sides to an issue. Unless I spam 600 people asking for an answer to a question I have.
I learned a lot in 2002 reading things here, and on 2 other boards, one of those is basically dead, the other's still great for business but this forum is one that I enjoy coming to day in day out.

there will always be play where webmasters gather.

i do business with board people daily, not much on gfy though anym,ore.

i come to gfy for content and drama lately not much else.

come find some new content dealers and thats about it.
