iran is nothing. there were nothing fighting iraq. they faught to a stalemate. iran survived in the end by having truck loads of fanatics charge through enemy lines and they weren't even armed.
iran is what they were 2 decades ago. just as with Iraq 1, they can be wiped out in an afternoon. tanks don't have the range or accuracy to destroy other modern tanks... missiles and rockets dont have the range or accuracy... they don't have heavy bombers, dont have new generation fighter planes/weaponry we have etc etc etc. not trying to waive the flag here, but the US truly has a very advanced military.
iraq did not lose a war this time because they were smart enough to just walk away and fight a guerilla war. iran does not have that option in a conflict. no one wants to depose their leaders or occupy their country... a conflict in iran would simply be a mission to destroy facilities which can be done from 500 miles away or 60,000 feet.
