Fuck that. I bitched when it hit $1.25. I bitched when it hit $2.00. I bitched yesterday when it hit $2.80 and it cost me about $80 to fill up my suburban.
Fuck that.
But I will gladly pay whatever is necessary to drive my family around in a vehicle that will not crumble in an accident!SharkyComment

If you think about it gas is not that big of an expense for the average driver, compared to insurance etc.. it's really nothing.ICQ: 72251955 GTalk: JuiceMonkeyComment

Every newstory I've seen about hybrids say they're actually more expensive to drive (including initial costs, maintenance, low resale value, etc.) than regular gas powered cars.Originally posted by spunkyNo,perhaps it's time to look into a hybrid thoughComment

i've had a interesting problem recently....since i have a Jag XJR (370HP), i have to use premium. to fillup runs just over $50 right now...for some reason, when you pay at the pump, they have a $50 authorization limit when i use my debit card...so i never get 100% full!Comment

I just bought a new 2005 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer edition 2 months ago. I have a family, so I needed something with 3 rows. It was a choice between the Expedition that gets 18 miles per gallon or a mini-van like the Ford Freestar that does 23 miles per gallon.
I felt that there wasn't enough of a gap for me to go the mini-van path AGAIN, if it was 15 miles per gallon for the SUV and 28 for the mini-van, I probably would've went with the mini-van.
I also figure that I don't drive much since I live at home, plus I make excellent money, so I can definately afford gas at any price
