I feel the same way about "drive safe"
My parents say it all the time when I go on trips or leave their house and I always tell them "I'll do my best"
I mean, if they wouldn't have said it would I have done the opposite? I hear the safe flight one all the time too. I never say either to people but I guess I understand their intentions... It's maybe a better way of saying "good luck!" lolComment
