I agree the Euro's are not the best. But honestly , I have never met a Euro who found out about tipping structure and continued to be ignorant about it.

I don't know what it's like now, but back in the day a waiter would make like 2.30 an hours plus tips. And again if your in a tourist area there is nothing worse than the group of 8 Canadians in a resturant where the tip is not an automatic addition to the check. ( again this is a general rule, I'm sure there are some very well traveled canadians that tip well. I've never met them, but I am sure they are out there)

When I was younger and didn't have the cash to eat at a better resturant I wouldn't go to a place if I KNEW I didn't have money to cover the tip. I guess it's a "right" thing, some will never understand.

2. Black people are really loud - you can see two black guys standing right next to each other and shouting on top of their lungs, it's simply the way they are

3. After being in a restaurand business for about 6 years I can tell you that the worst tippers are the Asian and the Indians, the blacks that are well off are as good (or as bad tippers) as the whites

I guess the South African blacks and the American ones are not the same ;)
