we saw him this morning at the buffet. i made sure to wait until he was done eating so as not to bother him. this was the conversation:
my gf: hi, would you mind if i took a picture with you?
irvin: uh
me: hey, great fight. best knockout i've ever seen.
irvin: uh
then he grimaced for that photo
then we said "thank you very much" and he just kind of rudely grunted again. i suppose he could have been in a bad mood for one reason or another but you don't do that to the fans, not in a sport that's in its infancy and not when you're a relative nobody. he should be grateful he got recognized at all.

Ya thats weak.
Was also unimpressed with him and Sylvia not acknowledging the guys they ko'd when doing interviews, really lacking class

i suppose sylvia could have mentioned tra in his post-fight interview but the fact that he went over to see if he was ok when the paramedics were working on him was enough for me.
WAaaaaaaaaaa you got a lot of pictures ... I guess they aren't too hard to approach yet ...

damnnnn, i hope the torrent is out. I wanna see chuck lay some hurt down
SIG TOO SMALL! Maximum 1200x600 button and no more than 30 text lines of ALL SIZES and COLORS. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 6240x4800 instead of a 1024x800.
On a related note, just watched the first episode of the Challenge Season 2 ... what a disaster: 2 quitters and an injury, no fight and Dana blows his top.
to label tito and dana's relationship as acrimonious it to put it mildly. the ufc is blurring his logos out of their fight replays (childish and stupid) and tito is allegedly starting his own mma promotion. i'll never say never but it does not look good. it's too bad because tito will never get the money he was making fighting for zuffa anywhere else and he's still a draw.
wow.. tough asian girl.. she's hot..
truly great pics man.. I envy your girl!
You got 50 badass fighters and 1 chick ... how many chicks are posted on GFY everyday ? naked ? how many fighters do you see on gfy ?

three people you'll never see in the UFC again: Frank Shamrock, Tito Ortiz, and BJ Penn.
Funny you say that... I was wondering where Ortiz has been hiding since being KO'd by Liddell. So over the weekend I popped on over to http://www.titoortiz.com/ -- and sure enough, he flat out says he's more or less "blackballed" from the UFC because of a dispute between himself and Dana White.
Now I've been following UFC since 1994, which goes back to UFC III and the likes of Royce Gracie, Kimo, Dan "The Beast" Severn, Pat Smith, and many more legendary guys that have been more or less forgotten about these days.
While I didn't really care for Ortiz all that much, he was exciting to watch when he first came onto the scene. Kind of shitty that a personal dispute can more or less blackball one of these guys from their sport. Considering a guy like Ortiz was probably directly responsible for gaining enough popularity to bring the UFC to the next level of mainstream.
Why would you say BJ Penn and Frank Shamrock will not be back? What's the controversy there?
