Pros: Propecia works well and for a lucky few you can even grow hair back in your temple areas. I?m one of the lucky ones and know for a fact it works well. Also, propecia was originally designed for prostate health and a side effect was it grew hair back.

Cons: Many doctors will not publish this, but propecia has side effects that can be discouraging for most. First, it takes almost a full year to see results and if you stop taking propecia your hair will fall out again. Second, dark circles under your eyes are very common and are known to NEVER go away even after you stop taking it. Also, I personally notice a large percentage of my body hair just stop growing. All hair on my fingers, toes, legs, back, arms, and chest are gone or like peach fuzz. Many guys develop ?bitch tits" so you need to hit the gym. Sexual desire and semen does decrease more then what is published. Also weight gain, testicular and lower abdominal pain is very common and usually means your dosage it too high.

HT

Pros: Most doctors will highly suggest you wait tell you?re 30+ and on propecia before they do the procedure. The reasoning is your age and hair loss (with propecia) will slow and you won?t need future HT so quickly. Second, two excellent doctors out of BC developed a new procedures called the ?lateral slit? technology that is truly amazing. In short, it covers more space with higher density ?look? using less hair and almost impossible to visually see an HT. It?s expensive, but most good HT doctors will only use this technology procedure.

Cons: HT doctors will rarely talk in depth about ?shock loss?. In your balding areas there is still hair, but expect to lose all of this due to the shock of thousands of holes punched in your scalp. The doctors tell you this will grow back, but in truth, you are lucky to get 10% back. After your procedure it can take up to 6-8 months before the new hair starts to grow in and 2 years for the full final results of the procedure. In this duration you probably lost more hair and in possibly need to fill the gap from your new hair and your reseeding original hairline. In short, it?s a catch 22 unless propecia likes you and you are willing to live with the side effects for the rest of your life.
jesus, im glad i did not talk to you before making some of my decisions
