I went with the other option- I was thinning on top for years and I finally shaved my head a few months ago and I have gotten more compliments from girls and more action quite frankly than ever before.
I started propecia about a month ago, basically I just have a receading hairline and I was told it probably won't grow back but it will prevent further hair loss or slower the hair loss process. I know several people taking it and they pretty much all concur that it's stopped the hair loss and not actually grown the hair back. That's pretty much what I need it for as my case is pretty mild but everyone loves their hair, it makes them look younger and you can't put a price on feeling good about yourself. So for now I'll stick with the pill, and if things get progressively worse I know the transplant operation always exists. I've seen plenty of before and afters at the doctor's office, and the doctor himself showed me his scar and it depends on how much hair they are transplanting. But I'd like to hear more stories if anyone here is taking propecia and their experiences with it.
