I don't understand why you would have to be into a niche to promote it...I mean, I think when you are just finding your way, it helps you get the hang of it, to think how you like to be marketed to. But once you know what you are doing.....

I am not a gay man, but I'd have no problem marketing them. I don't really dig the teen niche so much, and sometimes I am uncomfortable a bit with teen sites, but I am creative enough, and thoughtful enough to figure it out.

But, like I said before, to each his or her own, so I guess you do what works for you and everyone else does what works for each of them. Being a BBW, (and to me, I am a BBW, I couldn't give a fuck less what anyone else thinks. I think I am a beautiful, intelligent, good-hearted person, and to me, THAT'S what determines a BBW OR a small beautiful woman.), I guess I find it second nature to promote that niche.

i think it helps to enjoy the niche cuz then you know what would make you look at it.
also i think there are some people who like to jerk off to what they promote.

Yeah, I understand that...I would just think once you've got experience, you'd want to expand into new niches, to expand your bottom line. *grin*

Great post, and I don't think a person has to be "into" a niche to promote it either, but I think they will do a much better job promoting a niche that they ARE into, than one that they're not.

A good example of this is the issues I have with promoting Anal sex. I am not a fan of anal sex, yes I have tried anal sex, I know from experience that I do not like anal sex, I have a great deal of difficulty promoting anal sex. The first Anal freesite I ever made, I spent 3 weeks on LOL I kept on leaving it to work on other things, because I had nothing positive to say about anal sex at all, for text on the site. I ended up raving about the girls asses (which I do visually appreciate a nice ass, having one myself! ;) ) and asking a few of my friends their opinions on anal sex & quoting their responses (anonymously of course)

As far as BBW go, I'm going to say that one of the best sites I ever saw was a BBW site. I forget who it was, but she was easily very well past "BBW" and well into a point where it looks like she will probably drop dead any day now...(Sorry if that statement offends any of the BBW here, but I think Big & Beautiful is one thing, and Candidate for Cardiac Arrest, another) but anyways, after looking through the tour with some thought, I actually really respected the woman. Everybody has flaws, everybody has insecurities, everybody has stuff they wish they could change about themselves. I have a FAR higher respect level for BBW who are comfortable & confident enough with themselves and are just enjoying their sexuality & sharing it with whoever cares to share it, than for the girls who are not comfortable with themselves, in the adult industry for the $ so they can pay for their drugs, and are not sharing themselves or their sexuality & are merely allowing their bodies to be used & their self esteem further degraded.

To be honest BBW is like gay in that it is a market rather than a niche and that is step one to understand the buisness side of it.

Oh, trust me BBW models can be just as unconfident and flitty as slim models. You should see some of the 'wars' between models in the real amateur site side of things but they are good people at the end of it. I guess in order to get to the point where you take your clothing off and accept that there are men that not only like you fat body but want to pay to see it you need to go through some sort of acceptance of your body and say a big 'fuck you' to the world that maybe thinner models don't always have to do.
