I'm telling you. that is the stupidest shot ever of someone getting hit. Needless to say his opponent was a fuckin retard. Whether the hit was real or not.
well in slow-mo i can see how it looks like it's not a big impact, but watch it in realtime and listen to the slap of his knee on the guys head!??! OUCH !!
and the guys saying he's fake cause he still has his arms up - when someone gets VICIOUSLY knocked out, the whole body tenses up (look at this guys legs too, completely stiff) - you don't see KO's when the body locksup very often, but when it happens you know the guy isn't faking it !
That guy trains at my gym here is Roseville, CA. My friend Scott is his chiropracter too. We just said goodluck to him 2 days before at the gym.
Cool that you posted that clip.

It isn't fake you idiots either...... that is that guys weekness if you watched it. James Irvin explains that he knows he duck alot for takedowns and he fucked up and got a fucking flying knee to the teeth. It's real, he's local here and a sick fighter..he would work anyone on this board I'm sure. You can't beat professional fighters people..they'll tune your fucking head like a dial !

anyone ever see that pride fight "rampage vs. silva"?
silva threw 20 knees to his head, clean shots all of them. no joking 20 straight knees until the guy finally went down. ill see if i can pull up a clip of it.
I'm amazed that anyone would think that was fake ... how much presser do you think it takes to knock someone out?? and if you look at the vid.. you can see that the guys head hits right above the knee and his head rocks sideways ... That's 170+ pound guy flying at his head ... i could knock a guy out with 3 inches of swing if i hit him just right on the chin ... it's all about how the neck twists
Anyone who thinks that is fake can come over to my house and ask "Dave the Mad Man Marinoble" he is the knee throwers trainer. He was the guy hugging him after he knocked the guy out. It was pretty cool to see him on TV, he was a 2 time world champion kickboxer.
here's a different angle where you can clearly see martin's head snap back.
it's very frustrating for me to post here because so many of you don't follow mma and thus have no idea what you're talking about. that's a 205 lb ball of muscle flying through the air and extending his knee with all his might into the temple of a man whose momentum is driving right into the knee.
as for his arms being in the air let's just say the body does strange things when the brain is smashed into the skull.
kind of slow d/l but download it and then fastforward to the 5:00 mark. it shows all the highlights of the silva vs rampage fight. watch all the knees he throws and that guy doesn't fuckin go down.
Ok there I see where he was grazed. He's actually lucky it wasn't full contact, but definitely the momentum of the guy's leg slamming against the top of his head is enough to put a guy out.
Actually on the replay it looks fake, almost like he didn't even connect.
I wonder if most of these fights aren't fake. You'd expect quite a lot of deaths in fights like these. You get more deaths in boxing.
most boxing deaths occur due to repeated blows to the head made possible by the size of the gloves and the number of rounds. it's never one punch that does it, rather an accumulation of blows. most fighters wouldn't be able to withstand repeated blows to the head from someone wearing mma gloves and mma fights usually last 3-5 rounds.
*edit-and are you insane? grazed? that's a flying knee to the temple, my friend.
Great clip. I just started watching UFC and this is an amazing knockout. I just caught up with the whole first season of The Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV and enjoyed the premiere episode of the new season the other night.

Hell yeah, because you would have owned either one of these guys! Or both!
