I dunno, but I think some people are misinterpreting what DirtyDanza said about kicking a dog in the head. I don't think he means a full on full force door stopping kick. But probably just light taps to get the dog rilled up when playing with him.
Anybody who'se ever owned a big dog, especially the aggressive kinds such as Pits and Doberman's know that they love a small smack from time to time.
Its kinda like giving your woman a good slap on the ass... some women hate it, others get turned on by it.
