i worked in an office right by the server room
that smell was the worst ever, computer smell and they had big ass AC's cooling the place down but it still stank like computer DUST!!!!

leave the fucking room before you get cancer like me :P hehe j/k

They don't smell like a fart. It's the dry, hot, electric air they make.

Cant say ive ever noticed it, It's possible your pc's are over heating and you are smelling boards slowly melting..

Nah, you have this type of air in every server room. It's totally normal for rooms with lots of computer running 24/7 in it.

But I want todo something against it ...

And again, I've never noticed it even in a data center, Sure you smell the plastic smell of a fresh motherboard but other than that i dont smell shit.. Probably smelling stailed(sp?) air.. Get a air conditioner.. If the room is hot and lack of air flow then it will smell nasty no matter if its a tv or computer..

It's hot + dry + "electric" ... not really smelly, but very bad quality.

buy a air conditioner? I couldnt fucking work in a area with electronics without a air conditioner.. fuckkkk that.. electronics radiate to much heat.

Airconditioner is the best option for ya . You need to actually cool up that particular room so that your pc does not heat up and emits that smell. Its quite normal to get that smell when its heated so you need to also spray some air freshener in that room which might curb that smell.

like others said it could be that you need AC, we have one in here and I've never smelled anything. Could also be because outside is too hot and humid that comming in the air conditioned room is a relief

yea & in consumer reports the were rated the lowest pieces of shit on the market in all major areas

Get one of those air filtration / neg ion generating machines. I had a couple of them installed in our offices and it completely reduced the odors.
