Thats how it goes in some of them. Not all mind you, but most. the one that my friend works for, they all get paid well. they do high rise work, and he is making about 46 an hour as the foreman. his lowest paid guy is making 22 an hour. so not bad money, but the work sucks.
I worked for an pharmaceutical company for a few years, and it was amazing at how many employees they had, and how little got done. I know I did as little as I could, even though I was on contract.
