Earlier today samsam posted on GFY a false story about ePassporte, with a phony link to a supposed New York Times article. There is no truth to anything stated in that post. Things and people are fine at ePassporte. samsam has been banned and will hear from our lawyers.

I don't gamble, so I am not all that up on the issue, but why exactly is the U.S. government trying to ban internet gambling, when gambling is legal in various places (Las Vegas, Atlantic City), there is government sponsored lottery gambling games in many states (and across state lines), and gambling casinos are popping up all around on Indian Reservations, apparently with the blessing of the government?

If they can't shut down casinos in Monte Carlo, etc, where Americans can travel to gamble, how can they regulate people doing the same online with companies set up in other countries?

When I type in my user ID on this page:

I'm trying hard to avoid predicting stuff PP and hope it does not happen. There are things under preparation now - the "chatter" is unavoidable and part of it is local and involves US govt officers in several locations, tho the direction remains unknown. Who knows, but chances are it will be news within the month.

i stopped using epassporte altogether after the netteller happening, and don't plan to use them again unless things change w/ their acceptance of gambling business. the porn industry is under enough fire already to have my money tied up w/ a company who also dabbles in another arena that is even dicier (read, illegal already w/in the US)... i've lost too much money over the years in this biz, and its near always at the hands of those who "handled my money for me".

pick an industry epassporte, please. is gambling revenue really your main staple and the adult biz is just icing? these really aren't two complimenting business types to cater to, and it seems to add additional risk to your users and their money..

i love epassporte, but when people complain about accounts being disabled temporarily, i really do understand, i have come across forums where people make 100's of epass accounts a day. all the fraud that is out there is tough for any company.
