I just saw an interview he did from the hospital and he said: "I went straight into it's mouth front onwards and my head, chest and arm went right into it's mouth."
He could feel the shark's teeth dragging all over his body.... it knocked the breathing regulator out of his mouth and after 2 minutes he could not breathe ........ and then started shaking his body preparing to eat him.
The shark crushed his goggles as it kept biting and this broke his nose... he also suffered bite marks to his chest, arm, and torso
With his right, head and chest completely in the shark he felt around for the shark's eye with his left hand and poked it in the eye. This is what caused the shark to let go .... despite the lead diving vest he still has bite wounds, and some shark experts are describing this as a miracle.
He was talking very well and has sold his story for a considerable sum..... personifying the true Aussie spirit he still has his sense of humour and all his body parts!
