The sites look really good and normally id promote them but now i simply wont because everybody else is hehe.

sites don't get oversaturated that fast.... well.. then again this depends on your source of traffic

now, on a side note unrelated to beemk

the reason i asked people to hold off a few days on stats is to let it breathe for a few days. you don't yank the cork out of a bottle of wine and chug it right away, so why post premature numbers. its not going to help or hurt at this stage.

i saw some post yesterday that they sent 236 clicks and made a join. great not bad 1:236. now what if you had waited and gotten 2000 clicks but had only made 2, you'd be at 1:1000, or better yet, you made 12 and brought your ratio down to like 1:166. you'd look like a pimp. i really don't think that you can accurately pinpoint anything with that much traffic to one place.

the whole conversion ratio thing drives me batty. especially in this day and age. with so many level of traffic qualified so many different ways, i have completely given up on give in any credit when i see conversion ratios posted. unless you know the detailed backgorund of the person psting the stats and exactly where they got it, the destination of the trfic, (i.e. good gallery page, bad gallery page, blog, review site, and on and on and on), you really cannot know how your traffic will do.

all of this stuff is just my opinion, but its only logical, if you really look at it. there is a heck of a lot more to consider when sending traffic to a program than that conversion ratio number that is so easily affected by variables that you are completely unaware of.

just my honest opinion.

FYI. your numbers should actually be better considering the traffic leak that was on that gallery that we fixed. you will see your email, and if i am correct it would bring that motherdaughter ratio down.

Airek... I agree and disagree. Right now you need people to show they are promoting you. They can be 0:2000 right now, but in 10 mins get 8 sales in a row.

You're new, no shame in showing some numbers. Remember in 6 months, people will still have mixed feelings. 1:200 you ROCK! 1:4000 you SUCK

you are correct, no shame in showing numbers. i'm not worried about people seeing oh 1:15 or 1:30,000, traffic is what it is and is only as valuable as the place it came from and went to. you make a good point. i just wouldn't be able to live with myself if i didn't rant about at least one thing a day.

actually those stats are better than i do on average. the ratios look like they suck, but the galleries got really high click thru ratios compared to other galleries, i got over 3 sales on 1 gallery and thats all that really matters in my book, if im making more $ off a gallery than usual ratios dont mean shit.

As with everything at the end of the day ROI is king
