The world is a rough place... everyday street justice is handed down because the police system is too slack. Sure, it's easy to say how horrible it is that the girl got beat up and that really isn't how civilized people should behave... but what about common sense? What about NOT hanging out with the friends of the people you just ratted out to the cops? What about taking your own preventative measures?
Because I'd rather be healthy and in one piece in another city far away from those angry people, than be clinging to life because of my self-righteous indignation that nothing "should" happen to me so I'm gonna go hang with the peeps of the homies I just turned in...
