Thinking of selling websites (what can i ask?)

which domains/ programs then?

Typically when I acquire a site/network... I feel like a fair price is based on the 6-10 month revenue of the business. But, it also depends on how quickly you want out... and the risk factor (business could take a dive, have unrevealed legal problems, etc). Many will question why you are selling... regardless of your explanations.

You could sell it as a package... or the sites individually. A package would probably bring less money (and be out of the reach of most people that would be interested in buying it).

If i sell the site it would probably be the whole package. 6 to 10 months isn't really what i am looking for but it is a start ofcourse

I, on the other hand will very rarely ever pay 6 to 9 months. This may work for established mainstream sites, but rarely seems to work in adult. There are to many factors involved. For example, if the site gets a portion of the traffic from search engines, all it may take is one or 2 important sites taking down the link to your site and your search engine position will disappear. If the traffic is based on gallery or link list submissions, the traffic will also dry up rather quickly.

And the final acid test is, frequent some of the domain sales forums. You will quickly see how seldom a domain goes for anywhere near the prices quoted above.

If you do decide to sell, make sure you can give interested buyers complete access to stats. (Not just screen captures). For the sort of money you are looking for, a serious buyer would be a fool to not do a detailed examination of your traffic sources, search engine positions, ....

$100k+ is indeed what i am looking for. The income is very stable and it doesn't take much time to update. But again, this is not a sale (everything is for sale ofcourse for the right price) but i want to hear your opinions about the price.
