Does NATS track with cookies? I can't see my code

Just curious as I'm used to seeing sites with the nats= thing on every page.

    http://www.teendreams.com/featured/k...k4Ojk6MQ,0,0,0,

I can't see my NATS code anywhere in the source, and no cookies were set by this page. Seems to be a dead end as far as tracking goes.

The URL comes straight from the NATS affiliate system. Is there a prob or am I missing something?

NATS does use cookies however we recommend that all programs also pass the NATS variable along each page. NATS uses IPs as well.

However from what I can see on that site the join page that is linked is not the NATS join page. Have you contacted the affiliate program about this?

I have now, I just wanted to be sure that it wasn't something else as I do not use many NATS programs. The lack of a cookie and tracking ID looked fairly damning from the start.

FWIW there's 118 of these things with no tracking,

This doesn't appear to be a NATS Website or Porgram. The Money Orogram is a CCBill program and the join page on Teendreams don't follow the standard NATS format. I would go with your NATS code isn't passing through.

        Hope that helps.

            Rowan,

The link you provided http://www.teendreams.com/featured/k...k4Ojk6MQ,0,0,0 is not a NATS affiliate link. NATS affiliate links all go through an alias of the NATS installation and through our inbound script. That is just a link to an index.html page on the paysite domain.

They are running both a NATS and a CCBill program.

Perhaps you're being confused by something Rowan. Hopefully the owner will be able to explain to you what you may or may not be doing wrong.

It's meant to be a FHG, although it's a fairly unusual looking one. As I said, it came straight out of the NATS affiliate admin FHG generator.

The URL came straight from the Hosted Ad Tools dump.

In that case I'm guessing they have something setup wrong in their site configuration (linkdomain most likely). Have you had any response from the program owner yet?

I ran a script which checked for the presense of my NATS id in each gal... it's not perfect since it doesn't check syntax but it does show gals which are clearly broken.

All of the /featured/ gals are dead ends so if you have any of those then remove or suspend them.

One other FHG is broken, http://www.sweet-peaches.net/galleri...4Ojk6OA,0,0,0, has broken PHP code so it is not tracked.

I might extend this script to work with all sponsors, you'll probably hear from me again.
