Bragging about how little tv you watch is like bragging about how little you masturbate. Who cares? There is nothing wrong with watching tv per se as long as you don't waste the day like that. It's about the individual programs of course. I just Tivo my favorite programs and watch them at my own convenience. I am an addict. And if there's nothing on TV, I'll watch DVDs. I also do needlework while I'm watching so that's how I rationalize all that waste of time.
My SIL and brother don't have a TV at their house. She invited me to visit. I said I'd stay in a hotel When she was in the hospital with kid #3 my Mom went up there to take care of kids 1 and 2. She was in her hotel room and wasn't even thinking until one of the kids went running to their mom that they got to watch TV in Nana's room - ooops

I agree with Jim Gunn...who cares how little tv anyone watches. It would be more interesting to hear what you do besides watching tv. i usually turn off the tv in the summer so i'm not sucked in. In Canada you have to enjoy the good weather while it's around.
