When Rookiebabe.com was first launched I made a few galleries and got a few sales the first pay period totalling just over $300. The second pay period I made around $150. The first check I recieved from them was for the second pay period...what happened to the first check? So I write them an email kindly asking for payment for the first pay period and am told that payment was sent and that payment had been processed through my bank at "Bank of The West" which is an American bank I assume as I am in Canada and have never heard of it. So I phone Rookie Babe to see what the hell is going on and they fax me a copy of the check with my name PRINTED on the back of it which looks nothing at all like my signature.
So somehow my check got cashed by some fuck into an American Bank account. But my question is how did it get into there and i'm sure if Rookie babe was to call the bank and say to the bank that the check was cashed fraudulantly they would be reembursed and I would get paid and someone would be charged with fraud. it's now been well over 3 months since this happened and I've sent numerous emails to Rookie Babe which they long since stopped replying to.
So how do I get paid? Do I just give up and move on? Does this happen often with affiliate programs? Are there other sponsors I should avoid?
