    which hosting companies provide this? and what kinda price?

    this project we are working we were going to use mysql but the database alone is over 10 gigs, a single query takes insanely long.

    so we are going to go with sybase.

    who provides sybase database services. in the database size up to 50-100 gigs.

    and price range for this sorta thing.
    Since 1999: 69 Adult Industry awards for Best Hosting Company and professional excellence.

          sybase is better over oracle, as long as you know what you are doing.

          and i dont want a managed server. i want unmanaged.

          and 50-100 gig is the actual container space, not the hard drive space.

          i will want to seperate the log from the container.

          if i can have more than 1 disk, i would like to break up the containers into 2 drives if possible.

          and i will need to send the dvd with sensitive content to whoever i will be getting this hosting from.

          i will be only using this server for the actual datbase queries. i will be running the actual main stuff off my dedicated server(s)

          hope thats enough info for the hosts on here.

                  Contact the guys at CyberWurx they should be able to handle this. Of course unmanaged you will handle all the sybase stuff. But they can set you up with it.
