Yes I understand that showing interest in someone else's life or opinion is a great way to get normal people to like you and to influence them however with all the passive aggressive sociopaths, busy bodies, and other toxic personalities floating around I think Dale did a huge disservice to the people buying his book. The only think that sociopaths and other crazy or just plain stupid people understand is force. The best way to win against a sociopath is to make them afraid of you.
