I'm thinking seriously about doing a small "life style and trend" magazine with 50% "eye candy". Photographers could pay $500 to have a model page in the mag and each model would have about 200 copies to use to distribute to potential clients and see her image in print.

Lots of photographers have told me that some models would pay good $$ for tearsheets and/or that they could get a 'better' shoot if they were able to use guaranteed tearsheets as leverage.

So I'm posting to get feedback to see if this is a good idea.
