    NLM News: 6 Dead, 33 Wounded in Labor Day Weekend Shootings Across Chicago

    Six people have been killed and at least 33 others have been wounded in shootings across the city over the historically violent Labor Day Weekend, according to Chicago Police.
    The latest shooting happened just after 3:15 p.m. Monday when two people, including a woman witnesses say was pregnant, were wounded in a shooting in the 900 block of West 53rd Street.
    Chicago police arrested 77 people in an organized takedown at the start of Labor Day Weekend. NBC5's Regina Waldroup reports

                          About 6:20 a.m. in the South Shore neighborhood, someone walked up to an 80-year-old man in the 2800 block of East 77th Place, exchanged words with the elderly man and then shot him in the face. He died at the scene, according to police, who said the shooter was arrested with charges pending Monday night. The 80-year-old man’s name has not been released.

                                  They should just send the National Guard into that city and put it under curfew till they arrest all the gang bangers.

                                          Except that during the arrest, one (or many) of the gang-bangers would shoot at the cops, the cops would return fire, either wounding or killing a few of them, and then the BLM group would show up demanding justice. It really is a no win situation.
