Believe it or not, there are actually men and women who want to serve their country. Just the simple act of raising bonuses and lowering requirements would mean we woudn't have to reinstate the draft. And since a draft would allow those in with even LOWER requirements than the ones talked about in that article, the quality of soldiers would be a lot better than if we had to drag them in kicking and screaming and accept everyone in that particular age group except those who were the bottom of the barrel - or gay
