The first hundred years in jail? A breeze, but after that point - seperates the men from the boys. I once did 137 yrs in Rahway prison (NJ) - not easy at all.

what amazes me is why in the world would someone l like that who most likely KNEW he was doing some shady shit and making TONS of cash, stay in the US and retain his citizenship???

smart and motivated enough to make millions but not smart enough to prepare logistically and find other worthy countries to live in where it is NOT illegal to do the shit he was doing?

they can still get him in a lot of countries and the others, ain't worth living in. Then you have the ones... oh rich spammer... it will cost you X amount to stay in our country, then you pay and they still turn you over.

And if you ever come back or visit a country that has a extradition treaty with the US you are fucked. It just ain't worth it.

The US Govt. can put a lot of pressure on most countries.

I'm sure if someone did their homework they could find a few suitable countries to live in that didn't have extradition treaties, and obviously they would need to drop their citizenship here and just 'go native' wherever they landed...

a lot to give up to live that lifestyle, it's clearly not a choice I'd make, but if you're into that game, why stay here and risk life in prison?
