life sucks for everyone. shit happens. doesn't mean a meaningless lawsuit where only attorneys benefit and everyone else sufferes with higher insurance premiums makes it all better. if she was crippled, couldn't work etc.. of course some sort of monetary compensation would be in order. thats what insurance is for. otherwise, its just scrapes and bruises from an accident. accidents happen all the time. the world is an imperfect place. people are imperfect creatures.
suing someone for having a low IQ as you put it, as a means of "sending a message" is hardly rational when you ackowledge upfront that the person isn't going to get the message.
this country is being ruined by P&I lawsuits and all of the fucking maggot, lowlife, ambulance chasing attorneys that thrive on them.
its not about one person getting bruised. its about all of us bearing the costs indirectly because someone got mad and believed the blood sucking attorney that sold him on the idea of suing.
