    Carol is doing great. Surgery went good and no complications so far.

                                                          I didn't have quite the same outlook as you. In January of 2002 I returned from Internext and my grandmother was at OHSU. She never recovered.

                                                          I've always heard great things about that hospital but after my first experience.....That's all I could think about.

                                                                                      AaronM knows this but just to clarify, that was not the hospitals fault...the illness was irreversible.

                                                                                      Just got home from visiting Carol and she is looking pretty good for having all those tubes ect attached. She just came off the respirator and she is doing fine.
