Four very serious questions...any and all help appreciated.

Hello all. I'm a long time lurker first time (I think) poster. I have just been contracted by a local strip club to put together a website for their club, and I need a little help from some of the pros here. When I took this job, I was under the impression that the owner only wanted an info site for his club, so that's what I was prepared to do. I found out tonight that he wants it to be an info site...but he also wants it to have a weekly updated members site that will feature different sets of each of the dancers...I would assume doing more than what you can see them do in the club.

So here's my questions, and like I said, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.
    1. Can anyone point me to a definitve, and easy to understand, guide to what I need to make the site 18 U.S.C. 2257 compliant? I need to know what forms need to be filled out, what I need to put on the site, etc. In addition to creating and maintaining the site for the owner, I'm also going to be shooting the content, so this is one of the most important things that I need to know.
    2. What is a good webhost? The owner isn't wanting to put a whole lot into this site until he knows if it's going to fly or not, so we have picked out the $13.95 adult plan at http://www.exquisitehosting.com/. Does anyone know if they are any good or not? They seem to have all of the same features as where I host all of my (non-adult) sites, but the price is so cheap, that I'm sort of concerned. Don't get me wrong, if they are reliable I'm going to jump on this, because most of the adult hosts I've scouted run at least $99/month.
    3. Who should we use for our billing? The only one that I have even the slightest experiece with is CCBill, and I liked them pretty well, but if there is something else out there that's better, I'm more than willing to take a look. We are most probably going to be selling merchandise through the site as well (autographed 8X10's, etc.), and I can't remember if CCBill handled that or just password protection.
    4. Does anyone have a guide to how to submit to TGP's and what info (18 U.S.C. 2257 and/or other) that I need to submit to them? The owner wants to spread the word about this site as quickly as possible, and the best way I could think of is to submit to TGP's, but I really don't know what needs to be submited, or to be honest, even what to submit.

Once again, I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback on this. I'm an almost complete newbie to the adult website business, and I want to do everything right from the beginning. I don't want to end up getting myself, the club, or the owner into a mess that we can't get out of. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

    1. www.generationxlaw.com
    2. checkout www.serverprovider too - excellent comapny great customer service.
    3. If it is a paysite ccbill or www.paycom.net should work fine for you.
    4. To submit to tgps you can use www.dreamsubmitter.com or www.chameleonsubmitter.com. For keeping track of you 2257 docs a program like www.2257ware.com would be helpful.

Do some reading on cozycampus and ynot.com. Then Uncensor your hosting . . . Some of those plans at exquiste do not allow adult content. Plus you want a host that can grow with you beyond 3GB, 10GB or 15GB of diskspace. You want them to be able to handle your dedicated needs as well if/when that should become necessary.

        ? Cpanel/WHM/Fantastico
        ? No price increase EVER!
        ? 100% UPTIME GUARANTEE!
? 30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE!
? Affordable EXCELLENCE! The right answer.
? Email, IM and/or telephone support when you need it.
? Virtual, Semi-Dedicated/Reseller, Fully Managed and/or Unmanaged Servers.

Thanks for all the help, guys. To be honest, this is starting to look like more trouble than it's worth. I just talked to the owner, and now he's wanting me to work on "commission", so whatever the site brings in, I get a cut. I'm not sure that I want to do that.

The club is a small upstart here in Ohio, and the girls aren't that great looking. I mean some of them aren't bad, but the hottest ones don't measure up to girls like Arika, Melissa, or any of the other really hot girls out there with sites. Plus, I *think* the owner is just wanting to go with nude photos of the girls...no toys, lesbianism, videos, etc....so I'm just not sure that there's even a remote chance of this site making any money.

Add to that the owner is pretty well clueless when it comes to the internet, so I'm going to have to take care of everything...including taking the photos and taking care of all of the 2257 logs. I don't have the cash for the 2257 software (and the owner has made it clear that he isn't going to fork out anything more than the cost of the domain name and the hosting), so I'm going to have to record all the 2257 info by hand, which scares the hell out of me. (Sorry, like I said, newbie). I'm used to running wrestling sites...and the adult site thing is starting to get a little overwhelming.

So I guess I have another couple of questions...is there anyway that I can guarantee I'm not going to lose my ass on this? Any tricks n' tips for making (good) extra cash when memberships are down or anything like that? I'm not putting any cash into it, but it just seems that it's going to be a lot of long hours, which I'm fine with, I just don't want to put all the time and energy into it and then only make $50.00 or something like that. Maybe that sounds a little selfish, but hell, everyone here wants to make money or they wouldn't be doing what they are doing.

And the last question (for now, lol)...anyone want something "simple" designed? Like a TGP or banners or anything? I really would like to make some quick cash so I can get the 2257 software and be able to pay to have the site submitted, etc. before I get started.

Thanks again in advance for anyone that has some answers or throws some work my way.

I appreciate the offer, but I can't get ICQ to work on this computer for some reason. Is there any other way that we can chat, or can you just e-mail me? Thanks!
