                                                  I have programs & customs htaccess code I don't want accessed without permission incuding proprietary PHP code not found anywhere.

                                                                              wiredtree, servint, liquidweb is awesome (they own their own datacenter) m3 is top notch too as well as isprime and mojohost. You can't go wrong with any of those, they are REAL businesses not some startup in a spare office building renting servers. Nobody ever mentions the best of the best which is simply amazon, get an E2 instance instantly and scale to what you need on the fly and pay for what you use, most large businesses use them and there is not a service to help manage it since it's a little complicated for like 5 bucks a month. No waiting, instant server with power you choose.

                                                                                      shit may happens to absolutely any host. that's your problems and you have to have copies of your sites and have to be ready to deploy them in different place instantly.

                                                                                              The servers change all the time. If you need details just ask, we have 24/7 chat and our phone # is on every page. 24/7 support tickets on the support page.

                                                                                              I can answer questions here as well.

                                                                                                  OVH is just too good to pass up. At those prices you can use it to prototype or backup anything and not give a fuck. Where else can you get a Xeon E5 with 128 GB RAM for $80 a month.

                                                                                                  The caveat is that you will have to have experience with server set up and admin as there is no help. Remember Rackshack? It's like that on speed.

                                                                                                  The control panel is slick, quite probably the best we have ever used. The way it has management, monitoring and MRTG all in one view is perfect.

They introduced https://www.digitalocean.com/features/storage/ storage blocks to make them more useful without having to spend gobs of money for cpu and ram you won't need.

                                                                                                                  If you need up time and don't know your way around a command line probably get a host that is monitored, i.e. mojohost or vacares or whatever.

                                                                                                                  Hosting costs practically nothing otherwise.

                                                                                                                                      Thanks for the feedback, it's not intentional hiding but I can see how you might feel that way! Our VPS and shared servers mostly use Dual Xeon Eight Core E5-2660 2.2GHz but again that changes with new servers coming in. It's a constant rotation.

                                                                                                                                      The main point is I just didn't know it was common to want such specifics. I lean on the keep it simple to not overwhelm people. I'll definitely talk to James about adding them.

All the media buyers I know doing four and five figures a day mind you all use amazon to spin up an instance when they need it. I mean they only generated over 5 billion dollars from it this quarter.
