I see CO in your location I assume that is Colorado. Much of the drinking water in the mid west comes from the mountains ice packs. Due to global warming these ice packs that give you drinking water are melting at a very fast pace.
As they melt there will be less and less drinking water available. I think it's something like 3/4 of the water in the Us comes from mountain ice packs. Same is true for much of the rest of the world. Guess what no more ice packs equals no more drinking water.
That's just one tiny little thing that it will affect.
