Opera is a great browser. Many experts believe it is the most secure browser available and it is very quick. Also for tabbed browsing, it is fantastic (as we speak I have some 40 windows open).

You might want to look at your machine resources as well...

More RAM would help no matter what browser your using. I was running with 1Gig and threw in another gig for the hell of hit.... big difference on everything.. runs smoother. Now I want 4 gigs but I'm out of ram slots.
