Quite ironic.... Such taxes will probably lead to less overall income for the public if ressources and moneyflow moved out of US. And it is not only billing processors.

Good thoughts. When you make taxes or fees excessive, people or companies will go above and beyond to figure out how to avoid paying them, leading to a reduction of taxes collected. As I've mentioned before, it's only a lose to the USGov and the "little guy" who doesn't have the luxury of packing up and getting out. The big players will only see it as an annoyance and it opens the door wide for little players from other countries.

I don't think the tax will happen, but if it does, it just means that U.S. companies are hurt and companies from other countries reap the benefits. That is something the U.S. government should avoid.Comment
