I really have to say that the Canon 20D is pretty cool. Much nicer than the 350D for example. Next will be one of those EF 70-200 lenses, then I got some good zoom going as well.

Yeah, I had considered the 20D because of all the great work I've seen from it, but for my uses... the 350D was better.
My reasoning is that I just want mine for photos of my baby. In which case, the smaller and lighter camera is better of the "on the go" dad. And for the most part, as was said.. the picture quality is comparable, so I can get my prints done up from these pics just as easily.Comment

For most users, the EOS 20D are good, it feels far less 'prosumer like' and instead feels more like a 'baby EOS-1D' (as described by one of our team). Has anyone here experienced issues with the 20D locking up? I love the results I get from mine, but occaisionally the camera totally locks up. Its easy to fix by just taking the battery out and putting it back in, but I was wondering if anyone else had this issue.Comment

There is no use clutching to the 20D anymore.
I swear the pride of investment in some people makes no sense.
The 350D is simply better than the 20D hands down.
