they are also targeting companies that make scheduling software.. Acacia believes, yet again, that a patent they possess that has been broadly interpretted to mean more than what it says, is available for licensing.

comapanies being "solicited" by acacia are finding me, and i am putting the companies in touch together, as well as trying to point them to prior art where i see it.

with all the patents they claim to have in their portfolio, it will be interesting to see if they try to target the adult biz again

I was going to say, It appears that they are talking about scheduling and CRM software more than anything else.

ya.. and they told everyone how strong and valid the DMT patent was.. that they would essentially own the internet since most sites uses audio or video.

with the cable company lawsuits rolled up with the internet folks, this bogus patent will be nailed down... just going slow due to court processes.

acacia has a serious credibility issue, but yet, they manage to convince mainstream companies to just roll over and payout the licensing, cheaper to pay then to fight i guess.

Unfortunately I think is is 100% the case.

I was thrilled when they rolled the cable companies into the DMT case. Just goes to show when you have "low hanging fruit" that isn't ripe yet you don't open your mouth and try to swallow the tree
