What's with this NEW energy saving bill? Like this is the biggest worry the US has? Do lights & electronic devices run off of oil based products now too? Dipshit...

But the idea makes sense ... I heard that it is also considered advancing 2 hours the clock instead of one.

Maybe I'm seeing it differently.. but I don't see what difference it makes if it gets dark at 5:00 or 6:00... Dark is dark regardless what a clock says..

Think of it like this.

Instead of it getting light out at 5AM, when most people are asleep, it gets light at 6AM. This means that it gets dark at say 7PM and not 6PM. If your bed time is say 10PM, there's now only 3 hours of natural darkness before you go to bed as opposed to 4. You need to make artificial light for 1 hour less.

It adds up.
