yup and 4 metres deep. Wouldn't surprise me if it was a bunch of foreigners that actually did it.

But seriously, i suppose it all depends on the type of ground.. Sandy loose soil , and you and your grandpa could do it over a few years with just some wood , buckets and shovels on the weekends.

Yeah that's all it would require. How about digging in the right direction? Building a tunnel that wont collapse and fuk knows what else.

BTW - they did in in ~3 months.

This was probably inspired by the movie, Italian Job.
How could anyone dig a tunnel for months without getting noticed? Seems funny, but that's exactly how it happened.

Ok i forgot a compass. ( the wood i mentioned is to keep the tunnel from collapsing )

I live near a coal town , they built the tunnels by hand , just wood and shovels.

Its not an easy task but its not an impossible task for 2 people with absolutly no brains at all to accomplish. ( to do it properly might require a little more brains

)
