I just want this guy to leave me the fuck alone and a court victory will assure that everyone sees that legally I'm right. Plus the price to file the suit in small claims is very very reasonable.

He made me an offer. I accepted it. Then he backed out of his own offer. It's evident he just wants to slander me.

You wouldn't beleive some of the piddly amounts of money people take other people to court over.

I think he just wants his $500. The "slander" (libel?) is resultant of not getting paid.

Whatever, you both feel you're right, and neither seem willing to compromise at this point. All offers and counter-offers have been rejected... only thing left is to either walk away and suck it up OR.... settle it in court.

I just wish if it comes to that, that it's done on court TV. :D
