the mark of a truly fine dining establishment is refillable soft drink beverages.
so the question is does Red Lobster offer this? i hate seafood so i've never dined there.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

Sometimes people must remember the world we are in and the average economy. When 40% of your meals are made with ground beef at home and nearly the other 60% is either chicken or package products. You then typically may eat on every so often and that consists of a pizza chain or a national chain like applebes where the typical meal costs 13.00. Then yes when average people do eat at red lobster it is considered fine dining for them.
for me, a 'red lobster' is a tasty seafish. normally only avaible at special seafood restaurants or in high-class (5 stars ;) ) restaurants in the menue.
RL isn't too bad a joint, they used to be more expensive

I was talking to a friend from my hometown once. I told her when I went back to visit I would take her out to dinner wherever she wanted. She was all excited about going to Olive Garden.
I have nothing wrong with OG. In fact, I like OG. Point is, everybody considers "good food" or "top class" stuff different. I don't really care where I eat or what I do as long as its good/fun.
Some people like to keep up with the Jones'. I just like to enjoy life.

Olive Garden is anothger one I won't go back to. Had something that was supposed to be seafood pasta which had a couple of partial salad shrimps in it floating in butter sauce. Oh, and a couple pieces of what appeared to be canned clams.
Red Lobster is actually pretty good food. Not even close to fine first class dining but it is above average.
Olive Garden has some of the worst Italian food I've ever had. Only went cause I was with a group and they said it was good. To some it up in one word - YUK!
Red lobster is not fine dining!
Fine dining is when your waiter has all of his or her teeth, and they don't work if they are sick in any way. LOL
Fine dining is when the entire eating experiance is enjoyed. This means meal, service and cleanliness.
To many restaurants these days have terrible service, bad food and are really dirty! I still like the mom and pop places as they really take care of there customers!

Exactly...a bunch of people who have no real clue as to what the world is for a majority of folks.
And if someone takes you out to eat, just be thankful and don't bitch.
I've eaten at some very fine eateries...especially back in my old Hollywood days..but there was nothing more pleasurable than taking my mother to something like Red Lobster..because it made her smile ear to ear.
I love seafood. I don't frequent Dead Lobster much because there are several better (and yet even cheaper) seafood joints here.
As for 5 star dining... if you've actually been in an actual 5-star hotel dining room or dining establishment you would already know the answer to that question. Red Lobster is far from it.
lol, i have not been to red lobster in a long time. Last time I was there I got food poisoning so I kind of have to decline all red lobster invitations. They are sort of like the Denny's of seafood.
last time i was at red lobster, i was prolly 10 or 11. The place was black owned... and a lot of the people dining in there were black. Not a problem. Not until we saw others getting their food first yet we came in wayyyyyy before them. AFter waiting a ridiclously longggg time, my parents made the hugest scene ever, totally blasting on the waiter and the management. We had our food 2 minutes later, lol.
It really sucks when you go to ANY place and wait foreverrrrrrrrrr for your food, and its a huge choice of ' leave mad and maddd hungry and go somewhere else to wait even more, or, stick around for a few more minutes cuz 'maybe' the food will come.
