Best home surveillance systems?

I used to work in the security industry. Recommendation is to contact your local alarm dealer and talk with them and have them install something for you. But if you want to do it yourself....CCTV Site check out this site. You can get some pretty high quality equipment here. For outdoor...you want black and white cameras (they work best to actually see who the person is - color isn't so great for these applications)

Thanks a lot for the input, very nice site. I was thinking something along the lines of a wireless camera that can feedback to a monitor/display inside of the house. I've seen them around somewhere before. I'm thinking encase it in bulletproof/shatter-proof glass.
