It is not a far strech to think this could move a company up a "hit list" by people working for the power to jail someone for clerical errors if necessary.

    BINGO!!!

        You're the one that said
People need to be held accountable for attacking companies without merit. Somebody could end up in jail. Nevermind business, JAIL!
. I posted numerous times that this is not a criminal matter. You are the one suggesting that somebody could go to jail for attacking companies without merit, not me. I guess we retards take people's words for what they say

Unless you are saying people could go to jail for what X-Biz said. If they are not doing anything illegal, then they won't.

            2257 could = jail time.

This mistake could bring on heat that could land somebody from occash in jail.

A mis-interpretation of the law could mean jail time. I have heard at least a dozen interpretations of the law and guess what? NONE OF THEM MATTER. So if Occash's lawyer's advice and interpretation is off then the heat brought on by this BS could land Jay in jail.

Why not answer my other post? Would xbiz make this mistake with Lens, Brad or Ron? HELLLLLLLLLLL NO! So why make it with Jay or anyone else?

I have no affiliation with them other than being a rare poster to their board so can't speak for them and their intentions. Who says the same bad judgement sloppy report wouldn't have been made about Lens, Brad or Ron if information they believed to be true had been about them?

Dude you better keep your mouth shut in this thread. You are making yourself look like a complete tool.

And this is just an observation from somebody who has no interest with both companies. So take the advice.

But they are convicted by eyewitness accounts or physical evidence that convinces the jury they (intentionally) commited the crime.

Makes no sense. Unless there is evidence that X-Biz is intentionally trying to damage competitors this was obviously a case of poor journalism jumping the gun, but not an intentional act with the express goal by X-Biz of damaging OCCash.

As far as their not disclosing their source of the information on the messageboards at this point I would think their legal council has advised them to not do so until they have investigated the matter and know what they are facing. The messageboards are not a court, no matter how much some of us like to play judge, jury and executioner
I think you answered your own question..

As far as them not disclosing the "public" place they got the information from is horseshit. Theres no reason not to.

Like i said explain one reasonable explanation as to how that domain got into the article, it didnt magic its way into the article..

what a bunch of fucking retards working at XBiz...

This is the thread where they pulled their magic knowledge from because somebody asked if they were involved, they turned it like they are involved.

Everybody with a little clue knows that they don't produce their brazilian content, so the editor was either high or it was intentionally, go figure...

This is (hopefully) my last post in this thread. Mardigras is so deep up someone's ass he isn't comprehending why people are mad about this.

I'd like to clear something up. I made my posts here based on what I feel is right. I don't have an agenda. I've never met or discussed any business with Jay. Somehow our paths have never crossed. With Xbiz I have nothing but respect. I don't know much about them but I enjoy their site. They interviewed me back in January and it was a pleasure dealing with them.

So why did I post? Simple. This situation is absolute BS. It should have never happened. As I mentioned earlier, if the story involved Lens, Brad and Ron it would have NEVER EVER gone live. Why? Because any of those three would have sued Xbiz right out of business. Xbiz knows that and if the site had been an ADULT.com site I know for a fact that they would have never published it unless it was 100000% TRUE. And even then I think they would have waited until AVN published it first.

Now with a story that involves underage girls I think any company should treat the situation as if they were dealing with Brad/Lens/Ron. Why? Because the legal implications are too high to just use it as another HOT STORY.

Anyhow that's all I have to say about it. Anybody that disagrees definitely doesn't have a clue.

based on the fact they cant backup where the source came from.

Same thing that reporter is in jail for right now..

They made it up, the only reason to suddenly make up a domainname out of thin air is to harm the person who owns it.. Im open to ANY reasonable suggestions as to how it got there. but so far you have ZIP ZERo NADA, the same as the credibility for xbiz that suddenly flew out the window.

or maybe you just don't understand the situaton here.. Who cares if xbiz gets sued, Im sure they can afford it. If i was xbiz i would be alot more worried about "credibility".

If they get sued and they disclose where they got the info from , they might owe a little money but webmasters will trust them.

Regardless of if they get sued or not , if they dont disclose where they got the domain from then their credibility is SHOT. Until i hear where that domain is from then xbiz is nothing more than a propoganda machine for paid sponsors.

So your "2 shits + 1" lawyer might tell you to shut up and lose your credibility and your business over a small lawsuit , but i think a smart lawyer looks after his/ and your own best interest right and would tell you , if you have nothing to hide then why not disclose the info.? Its a win win situation , whereas hiding the source is a lose-lose situation.. see what i'm getting at..

Great thing about XBiz is that they added our client support forum to their email list.

We get the mails through and no-one would have added the address.

This is (hopefully) MY 2nd to last post in this thread (I have a brief one for smokey )

First off, I don't have an iron in this fire. I'm not in this thread to take sides or defend any specific action that may or may not have been made by or by the direction of the owners of XBiz. Not having any business relationship with either party allows me to objectively look at everything that has been presented and share my observations. What ruffled my feathers was the "Guilty! Now prove innocent!" mentality that has been thrown in these threads.

I've never met or discussed any business with Jay. Somehow our paths have never crossed. With Xbiz I have nothing but respect. I don't know much about them but I enjoy their site. They interviewed me back in January and it was a pleasure dealing with them.
I also made my posts here based on what I feel is right. I also don't have an agenda. I've never met or discussed any business with either party. I do enjoy the XBiz site, my visits to it are almost always initiated by following a news article link from the XBiz Daily e-mail. They never interviewed me

I agree with you that the situation should have never happened. The response from XBiz is that it should have never happened. We ALL fucking agree it should have never happened. So why did I post? Simple. You, I and none of the participants in this thread know how this happened, so anything we posted to this thread in the meantime is merely opinions, not fact. They are due their day in court, if it comes down to that.

Because any of those three would have sued Xbiz right out of business. Xbiz knows that and if the site had been an ADULT.com site I know for a fact that they would have never published it unless it was 100000% TRUE.
Which is why I tend to suspect that the faux pas was committed by someone totally clueless who needed better supervision. It makes no sense otherwise. Until it is revealed that Helmy or any of the management of XBiz was behind intentionally puting their company's reputation on the line and targeting a relatively minor competitor out of hundreds to destroy their business I find it incredibly hard to believe that this was the case. They do not have a track record (AFAIK) of doing this. They are due their day in court, if it comes down to that.

There would only be *one* news source in any given market if all the others sat around waiting for "the one" to report a story then copy it. Does that excuse a "reporter" for going with something they know is false? No, and I never claimed that. Again, XBiz is due their day in court, if it comes down to that.

I wish I had a dollar for every time someone at GFY or other boards/news accused another of CP, being a pedo or other crimes without concrete proof, a guilty verdict or having been an actual witness. Perhaps all accusations in the adult industry should be handled as if they were dealing with Brad/Lens/Ron, but this is not the case in reality. Again, XBiz is due their day in court, if it comes down to that.

I'm not sure why people are concerned (within the context of this thread's topic) about XBiz' intentions. Libel is simply the publication of a false statement (one which is not a privileged communication) that injures someone's business or personal reputation. There does not need to be any malicious intent.

We badly need more people to start using the courts, whether as a reaction to this kind of issue, when someone does not pay them, or whatever. It seems as if almost every day another victim chalks something up to experience and okay, some people post on the boards simply to stimulate the drama and show their sigs, but there is always a sizeable minority ready to blame the victim. However it has happened, we have created an environment in which the cowboys are confident they can operate with impunity.

see, I admit when I am wrong

Now the onus is on xbiz to tell what public source they got the information from..

You have a lot to learn about the law.. You would be saying "innocent until proven guilty " as they gas you lol

In the real world things don't work that way.. The proof is there , anyone can see it , your arguing for more proof.. so am i. They need to prove they picked it up as a valid news story or there is no other reasonable way they could have gotten it unless they did it intentionally..

My theory is they asked some insiders , and one of xxxjays competitors said brazilbang and xbiz ran with the story without checking it in any way..
