so its safe to say maybe 20Kb max? So even on a SLOW (low bandwidth) connection, its probably okay?

text only is very low BW

add hi rez webcam with fast refresh and voicechat and you need maybe 300kbs BW both ends for good audio quality and no hanging.

most efficient to put both parties on "invisible". best audio will come with headset use.

reduce size of webcam image to small and you save about 75kbs.

does not work so good with satellitte systems (direcway, etc) speed should be the same both up and down.
