    Has anyone had experience recovering formatted data?

    I formatted, and I just trying to find 1 file

    Outlook.pst

    has ANYONE had experience doing this?

    I am working with 2-3 data recovery programs right now, but if someone knows one they have used and been successful with I will love you forever

    in fact, I will paypal someone money if they suggest one and it turns out to be the one that works!!!

    Have experience with it. Problem is, it's an entire cd. Not downloadable..

        There are a few disk recovery programs out there. I've done it before.. it's not pretty but it works.

              It depends, if you've formatted and re-installed windows, chances are you've overwritten the file and won't be able to get it back, maybe fragmented bits but too little to be any use.

              The best commercially available one is EasyRecovery Professional, there are other ones but they cost $$$$$ and are meant for forensic analysis.
