That' correct. It's the sum from 1 to infinity of (0.5)^n.

That infinite sum can be done in closed form. When you do it, that infinite sum = 1.

(If you start adding the first 5 or 6 terms in the series, you see that it rapidly starts approaching 1, so as n goes to infinity, the sum converges to 1)
