Somebody knows how to contact Dominic from Nitrocomix ? Their site is down, @nitrocomix.com email doesn't work either, not on ICQ, no reply on his hotmail address..... I hope they are not out of business ... please help me out, thank you

It sure makes it hard in situations like this to contact a company.
His old websites only had two email addresses, webmaster@ and support@ with no telephones listed.
His domain is cloaked in private registration and the domain is locked at the registrar, so I don't think he has started any transfer to a new host at this time.
ICQ search does not show anything under either email address. I don't think there are any wildcard search functions for looking up someone with just the domain so not sure how to go further than that.
Maybe someone on here has the ICQ number and can give it out?
Domain expring in July 07, DNS locked at registrar, site down, no contact telephones..... has all the makings of someone shutting down......but let's hope not.Comment

first of all...I have dealt with him before and hence I know what kind of work he does.. yes its top shelf. But never taken this long for a turn around time.
second of all.... its how you ask.. come on... you have no idea what was the tone or content of my messages to him.. so just assume its cordial.
again.. when you deal with ppl or customers.. you be surprise how far that a drop of acknowledgement goes.
thirdly.. he cant stand pressure?... please... its pressure that he creates by his own doing... people wouldnt be freaking out since the normal means of contact are all non responsive, or dried up. All it takes is a simple act of acknowledgement on his part.Comment

Imho. No it doesn't.
You cannot tell a thing about whether he is moving hosting by a private reg and a domain lock. The only thing he has to do move hto osts is switch out his dns and you cannot tell whether he is doing that fom either of these two items.
Domain lock is often (as in all of mine) put on by the owner so it cannot be hijacked.
Other than that, many people only do 1 or 2 year registrations at a time and renew them when they are just about up.
So, none of that is a clue in anyway as to whether he is shutting down or not.
If you are gonna put out stuff like that, please learn how the internet works first.All cookies cleared!Comment
