    Gimme some help folks - with nutter surfer!!!

    I run a blog. I use original content that I shoot myself. Write the entries myself. Popular "personal" blog.

    A surfer has discovered that it is fake and has been pestering me via comments, emailing anyone that will listen, and spamming forums with a link to me and my blog mentioned on another adult webmaster forum. None of this hurts my traffic, it just pisses me off that someone would TRY to hurt my traffic.

    So here it is, I'm totally fucked off now. It is probably some snotty-nosed girl, and I'm a grown man, but I cannot help being pissed. What infuriates me is I am powerless to do anything about it. It hurts me in no way other than this frustration that I cannot do something. If anyone of you guys pissed me off this much, I could and WOULD do something, but this anonymous fuck is just that, anonymous, and has truly gotten under my skin.

    I have an IP and a hotmail email addy.

    Suggestions?

    (I realize I'm being petty, but sometimes someone just gets under your skin. The blog accounts for about 1 hour of my day, but I'm pissed now)

      Start some drama with them on your blog about it not being fake. The surfers will keep coming back for more.

      They are doing you a favour with free traffic.

          You can modify your blog software to block them based on that IP...send them somewhere else

          However I think what Relish said above is true, it could increase your traffic...people like to fight over the net and others love to read it (hello GFY!)

              Not a bad idea. It doesn't quite satisfy my primal instincts, but you are right and I think it could work.

                  I like the idea of sending them elsewhere - virus hell would be a nice destination.
