holy shit i got it! by the way Snag it just does the same as print screen and Screen Shot Maker 2.3, but that also not where the problem was,

The key was in that link ProjectNaked posted:

"f you use normal screen-capture software to take a snapshot of a video in Windows Media Player, it come out blank. This used to drive me nuts. Here's the seven-step solution:

                    1. Open Windows Media Player
                    2. Go to Tools
                    3. Go to Options
                    4. Go to Performance
                    5. Click the "Advanced" button
                    6. Un-check the "Use Overlays" tick-box
                    7. Click OK"

This didnt help at first because it gave the videos green and yellow transparent bars thru it (could make screenshots but doesnt seem right with those bars thru it), but after u uncheck 'use overlays', u have to CHECK 'use high quality mode' right below it, and you can make a good quality screenshot with any program; i use Screen Shot Maker 2.3!
                    Thanks peeps

not using an overlay will force your card to update your desktop 75 times a second.
I would imagine playing large movies might lag.. maybe not.
