    Democrats to Lead Anti-Porn Surge?



    So what is the real story? First Hillary Clinton and now Barbara Boxer attacking Internet Porn? Is this how Democrats will prove to the masses they have family values?

    Curious to see some discussion among the GFY DEMS and GOPS - personally, I always thought the biggest danger was from the democratic party - republicans generally support profitable free open markets - are democrats ready to restrict and tax in an effort to garner some deep South red state votes?

          I have been telling people Democrats were just as Anti-Porn as any republicans for years. It all started with Granholm attacking the credit card processors and shutting down porn sites for "alledgedly" having CP on the sites, when they did not and she is a Democrat.

          I am all for shutting down CP sites, but the sites harmed had none.

                          republicans are also making porn/obscenity a MAJOR priority. right now, i'm not happy with the democrats OR the republicans on these issues - i think both parties suck!

                                  The dem party is so disorganized.. They are trying to gain the moderate repubs. Dems also are more for civil liberties and free speech, so right there we have an inherent problem. It could be just pillow talk.

                                      It's about Peer to Peer, and the inability to properly monitor what goes on them. Someone could take a hardcore porn movie, name it something else, and allow p2p access to it.

                                      Obviously if parents are letting their little kids on the internet, unsupervised, with P2P software blazing, they're idiots.

                                      It sounds like lip service. Both sides do it all of the time.

                                          I think the past few elections were more "anti-Bush" than anti-republican. As well, they weren't pro-Kerry.. or pro-Democrat. More like they were pro-ANYONE ELSE.
