I'm confused. How exactly would you be screwed later on? Just as with alienware, if any of the parts fail you call them up and get a new part. All the parts are under warranty. If you buy a CPU from newegg, it's under warranty through AMD.

No, in both cases the parts are under warranty. You buy a part from an auto store or you buy a part from a computer store. They're going to come with a warranty - so the part will be replaced if it fails.
